Website copy for charity
This highly respected charity has many different branches in the early years sector, including advocacy, industry training and memberships. They also have a comprehensive insurance service with a somewhat complex journey. It is important that all copy is clear and ensures that prospective members understand their different options, while ensuring that the charity’s voice is never compromised.
I was asked to create new copy for the charity’s membership and insurance pages which put the needs of the members first and created a story around the membership offer, championing the why. Rather than putting features and benefits first, we set out to answer the question, ‘why should I care about this'?
The result was elegant copy which improved customer acquisition and retention by 25% and allowed the membership team to spend less time on the phone answering questions that could be answered in an easily accessible FAQ document.
Articles for travel magazine
Scan Magazine is a staple in Nordic train stations and airports. They provide an opportunity for Scandinavian businesses to showcase their most interesting projects and products, and provide education and entertainment for travellers.
I interviewed subjects about their projects and businesses, and turned their stories into interesting, informative articles. It was important to quickly understand the topic and capture the most interesting part of each person’s story.
Blog posts for international payments company
Caxton is an international payments business with both B2B and a B2C products. It helps businesses and HNW clients transfer money internationally for invoices and property sales. It also offers a currency card which allows customers to take advantage of more favourable exchange rates.
Caxton needed a number of blog posts to explain the benefits of using an international payments company rather than your bank and raise their profile in the sector.
